We will be getting some new
cheeses from CHERRY GROVE FARM, their Harvest Toma,
Provolone, and 'Jersey Giovane' – their version of a fresh Mozzarella!
PARADISE ORGANICS comes through, again!
Did you catch any of that beautiful Rainbow Swiss Chard last week? It's
back Friday afternoon! Along with Green Kale, Collard and Mustard
Geens! The supply isn't large, so come and get it while you can.
Remember WEAVER'S ORCHARD? We'll again be getting
apples from them starting this week. As of Thursday, we'll have Pink
Ladies, Crispin/Mutsu & Stayman Winesap. Many thanks to Mark
Wieand for picking them up for us!
And last, but certainly not least, we have arugula from LANDISDALE
FARM. Also in limited quantity, it will arrive Saturday AM.

 HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you from everyone
at the Farmstand! We all hope you had wonderful holidays, filled with
lots of local delicious-ness! Speaking of delicious, we'd love to get
submissions from you, our very talented customers, for our recipe
section. We know you’re making wonderful dishes with the local farm
products you buy at the 'Stand (we know because we hear you talking
about it), and we'd love to get some of your recipes for this email. Send them to us!
Our big news is that we are very happy to start the year off with my
new Co-Manager, Ruth Holbrook. She may be a familiar face to many of
you, as she is a long-time volunteer and worker at the 'Stand. Next
week we'll have her tell you a little bit more about herself. Please
say, "Hi," and introduce yourselves to her if you haven't already met.
